South San Antonio ISD Asks District Residents for Approval on Tax Increase

Will more tax revenue really solve the problem or just kick the can down the road? The question to ask is “Why is student enrollment dropping?” when population is reportedly growing and the City and County are planning for a million more people to move to the area? This holds true for all traditional ISDs including South San, Edgewood ISD, SAISD, NEISD, etc. Could it be that parents aren’t liking the education, the promotion of perversion through sex ed, and a little bit of public school competition via charter schools causing the headaches that Independent School Districts don’t want to address or change to protect Texas children?
